GOD PLAYED A TRICK ON ME! :)
What a lovely day we have here in Brampton Ontario, today!
Yesterday was bright & sunny as well. After noon, with the laundry going, Chloe (our pup) & I ventured out to our little yard to tidy & clear the leaves, in preparation for the White Wonderland that we will soon be blessed with. The air was warm & the sound of children playing was a delite to my ears, as I worked at pulling flower stalks, putting away pots & stacking & covering furniture. After a short while at play my task was complete. Only the fountain to cover. My plan, to have Mark assist me with draining the water from it once he arrived home from work. What a wonderful part of my afternoon!
This morning I opened the blinds to a collection of colorful leaves, far more plentiful than I raked yesterday. God knows how much I enjoyed my work/play yesterday & has provided me with another opportuity to enjoy that glee. Another time of listening to the children as they too enjoy the warm weekend. Another time of watching Chloe collect leaves if her long hair, beckoning the children to come & pat her, & barking at the squirrels as they work at collecting the last nuts of the season.
THANK YOU GOD for this day, for the beautiful seasons that you provide for our enjoyment. Please be with our children & grandchildren, our friends, old & new & those that we are yet to meet. Bless each & all as you see fit, that your will be done here on earth.
