A must read story!

A touching story, no matter what faith you are worshipping in!

Philippians, 4:13 “I have the strength to face all conditions by the power that Christ gives me”.

Here is the story; I received it in French, so I translated it:

A young man, having trained extensively all of his life in ‘high diving’, was specifically training for the Olympics.

He was basically an atheist but had a real good friend who was a Christian, and this good friend did not have a problem witnessing his faith in God. So his friend had heard a fair amount about Jesus.

One night, the young diver, went to the College where he was a student to practice his diving. All the lights were out, but the pool area had very large windows, so there was a reasonable amount of light coming in from the full moon; therefore, he could see comfortably.

He climbed onto the highest diving platform as he had done so many times, stretched his arms out and as he was about to turn, he noticed his shadow on the wall; it was in the form of a cross.

The young man felt something very strange as if someone was talking to him; so, instead of diving, he knelt on the platform and asked God to come into his life. As he was standing up from his kneeling position on the platform, a maintenance worker walked into the pool area and threw the lights on … the pool was empty, it had been emptied out for maintenance.
